GET INVOLVED

Every aspect of an Isaiah 117 House is designed to send a strong message to a child who has just been removed from their home- that they are not alone and that they are loved! From the colors we use, to the furniture we choose, to the items we have available, every aspect is sending a message to that child that they are important, they are seen, that they matter!

This is one of the main reasons we provide new items. Many of these children arrive at the red door of the Isaiah 117 House with nothing. We want to meet their immediate needs “lavishly”. So, we don’t just offer a bath, we offer an Elmo bubble bath with bath toys and a big warm fluffy white towel to dry off with. We don’t just offer a pair of pajamas, we make sure every child receives at least 2 brand new pairs of pajamas. We don’t just offer a teenage boy a pair of shoes, we offer him a new pair of Nikes he’s always wanted. Just as God lavishly loves on us, we believe we are called to lavishly love on others!

Community Supporters

This role supports the mission without requiring direct care responsibilities. No training is necessary, just a heart to help. Community Supporters make it possible for the house to exist and to open the Red Door to guests. This may involve donating in-kind items or money, praying over and sharing the mission or showing up for our events or service days.

Programs in this category include but are not limited to:

Bin Buddy

Bin Buddies help us replenish our bins in our house. This may be socks, toiletries, underwear, beauty products, blankets, clothing etc., all to bless our kiddos.

Pantry Pal

Pantry Pals help us replenish food, drinks and items in our kitchen. Whether we need to restock drinks and snacks, meals prepared that we can pop into the freezer or new kitchen tools this role helps us keep things stocked.

Sock Buddy

Every single dollar truly blesses the house and the children we serve.
