You’re invited to a special celebration to honor Chambliss Center for Children’s 150th Anniversary on Saturday, October 22nd from 10AM - 4PM on our campus, located at 315 Gillespie Road, Chattanooga, TN 37411. Throughout our 17 acres, you’ll find family-friendly activities for kids of all ages to enjoy, completely free of charge! Read 20 will be holding their Storyland Trail throughout our bike path and bringing classic storybooks to life. Guests can enjoy inflatables, sky gazing, pumpkin painting, live performances, and historical tours throughout our buildings. Work up an appetite and take a break with multiple food truck choices as well as Italian Ice and sweet treats! There’s so much to do on this fun day celebrating 150 years of service!

Parking:
Parking for general admission is located on our softball field which can be accessed off Rogers Road. Handicap-accessible parking is available through the main entrance of Chambliss Center for Children, located on Gillespie Road.
Weather:
This is primarily an outdoor event. In case of inclement weather, activities may be moved inside the building. More information will be available closer to the date of the event if the weather appears to be an issue during the week of the 22nd.
Restrooms:
Port-o-johns will be labeled on the event map and select restrooms will be available within the buildings.
Playgrounds:
Chambliss Center for Children has several playgrounds on the 17-acre campus. Most of these playgrounds will be available for use during the event with their locations indicated on the event map. Playgrounds are not monitored by event staff and all attendees are expected to play at their own risk. Children must not be left unaccompanied during the event.
Concessions:
Multiple food trucks will be on-site during the event. Guests may purchase food if they please. Complimentary food or snacks may be passed out as part of an exhibit or activity.

Photographs:
There will be both Chambliss Center for Children photographers taking pictures during the event and visiting groups taking photographs. By entering into the AnniversaPARTY, you are agreeing to be photographed. More details about our photography release are available by clicking here.
